Head Teacher
Milton, Ontario (On-Site)
Milton Quran Institute (MQI) is seeking a full-time Head Teacher to lead and oversee Qur’anic education at our institute in Milton, Ontario. This is a leadership role for a qualified hafiz with a strong educational background, authentic ijāzah, and proven experience managing teachers and academic programming. The successful candidate will guide students and staff with professionalism, ihsan, and a deep commitment to preserving and teaching the Qur’an. MQI has served families across Milton and the Halton Region since 2010. We are committed to providing high-quality Qur’anic education rooted in strong Islamic values, academic excellence, and sincere community service.
Requirements
- Hifz of the complete Qur’an (30 Juz) with authenticated, chain-connected ijāzah
- Minimum 5 years of professional Qur’anic or Islamic teaching experience
- Demonstrated experience in academic leadership, supervision, or team management
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong organizational, administrative, and people management skills
- Deep personal commitment to Islamic values, professionalism, and community service
